Michael Aharon
Michael Aharon is an Argentina-born, Philadelphia-raised, New York-dwelling composer and multi-instrumentalist.  His work features a strongly imaginative use of electronic and digital sound techniques as well as a deep affinity for the organic and emotive nature of acoustic music.  
 
He has scored numerous award-winning documentaries, and his songs have appeared on TV shows including “Dawson’s Creek” and “Dora the Explorer.”  He was an arranger / musician on the scores for both Jonathan Demme’s Philadelphia and James Foley’s film Two Bits (starring Al Pacino) and he produced the soundtrack and composed add’l music for Ed Burns’ The Brothers McMullen.
He has composed music for hundreds of TV commercials including, in 2008, The Philadelphia Phillies and Barack Obama, who subsequently won The World Series and the Presidency, respectively.
