Nandhakumar (Nandu) is the brain behind Flamingo films and has more than 40 years of experience in the Film and Television industry. He has won two prime time EMMYS for his work.

Nandu has shot more than 120 episodes of "World This Week," a news and current affairs programme produced by NDTA, and he has also worked as Bureau chairman for BBC SouthAsia Bureau in Delhi for 8 years.

He is also associated with more than 20 Wildlife Documentary films.
